Welcome to Pink Jinn, the politics and culture blog that tells stories, unravels misconceptions and celebrates the beauty of the Middle East and North Africa.

Whether you’re a professional working in the region, a student of Middle Eastern languages, politics or culture, or you’re simply trying to understand the stories dominating the news headlines, you’re in the right place!

We focus on politics, travel, culture and women’s empowerment in the Middle East in order to promote a better understanding of one of the world’s most confusing and often misunderstood regions.
